Fume Chamber is designed to throw out all toxic, obnoxious or harmful acid vapour, mists etc. for protecting Laboratory personnel and all costly equipments from corrosion. A motorized centrifugal blower system is provided to generate negative pressure to extract the contaminated air from the enclosed working area and expels it outside the room through a fume exhaust polypropylene duct
Construction: Inner chamber is insulated by best quality Heat & Fire proof Sheet FRP Lining. Outer body is of thick Mild steel sheet duly finished with powder coated paint. All joints are welded. The top and Back is double walled acts as fume duct. The back also acts as a fume duct in open and close system.
Work Table: Is fitted with Acid/Alkali resistant Granite.
Door: The sash door is of heat resistance toughened glass Steel framed moves vertically up and down smoothly through the guide pulley controlled by balanced counter weight suspended in wire rope.
Blower System: The motorized centrifugal blower exhaust system is consisting of best quality ¼ HP 1440rpm motor fitted with anticorrosive FRP impeller
Fume Duct (Exhaust): 5m long polypropylene duct pipe of 6” dia to reach the wall from the cub board.
Gas Outlet: The side wall of the fume hood has provision for Gas/LPG/Nitrogen outlet by Stainless Steel Pipes with proper insulation and fitted with valves
Air Velocity: Digital Air Flow Monitor having LCD Display screen to see the air velocity inside the working Chamber
Temperature: A Digital Temperature Indicator with Sensor to see the temperature inside the working Chamber
Sink: Stainless Steel Sink with Stainless Steel with tap fitted with Needle Valve & proper drainage system is provided in the working chamber
Storage Compartment: Made of Mild Steel with shelves and door
Light: 40W Tube light placed on the Slant Top from out side
Electricity: Built in Starter for Blower System & Electrical socket of 1 x 15 amp and 1 x 5 amp is provided to run the equipment inside the chamber, supply of electricity to the Instrument to be used to work on 220 volts single-phase AC mains. All wiring is done by Fire Resistance wire.
Legs: Height Adjusting Legs for easy maintenance.
